Not only is our online school in Lancaster part of the public education system and therefore tuition-free, we also provide all of the materials, tools, and technology that a student needs to learn from their home. We supply our students with a laptop, a printer, and ongoing tech support. Our school uses the Blackboard Academic Suite to share calendars, course information, announcements, and contact information for faculty and staff members.
When you think of an online classroom, you probably envision your son or daughter sitting at home secluded from their peers. Whereas, PA Virtual provides a variety of socialization opportunities for our students. We want your child to have some fun while they develop educationally and socially. That’s why we schedule monthly field trips and offer a number of student clubs and activities. Additionally, students enrolled at PA Virtual are eligible to participate in extracurricular activities in their district of residence.
