Flexibility

PA Virtual delivers instruction via synchronous and asynchronous classes. Students can attend live classes (synchronous) or work in a self-directed environment supervised by a dedicated teacher (asynchronous).

An Efficient Education

One of the great things about virtual education is that it can allow students to complete their schoolwork in a more efficient way. Every day, they get back the time that would normally be eaten up by transportation time for busing to and from a physical school building. The convenience of schooling online allows them to finish schoolwork earlier and gives them more time for extracurricular activities. You can even adapt your child's school schedule to fit around doctor's appointments, sports practices, after-school jobs, volunteer opportunities, and more.

Teaming Up with Your Child

Our academic model does require that a parent or other responsible adult, which we refer to as the Learning Coach, is at home with the child throughout the school day, monitoring the student. A certified teacher will still be providing lessons, academic assignments, grades, and feedback. But you'll be there in the home to help supervise too. And PA Virtual provides parents with all of the resources they need to manage class schedules, track student progress, and communicate with teachers regularly. We even offer opportunities to connect with other parents and get support from them.
